Our Mission

The people of Ferndale First United Methodist Church are called to share God's love as we minister with and to all persons, providing worship, nurture, fellowship, and service. Our welcome knows no boundaries of age, race, ethnicity, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, family configuration, and economic condition, physical or mental ability. We embrace and seek to preserve the beautiful, amazing diversity of God's creation. We cooperate in ministry with other local churches and groups of God's people as we participate in the worldwide mission of Christ.  2 Corinthians 5:18

FREE!!!  Community Dinners

The last Wednesday of each month is set aside as we typically find our funds short and bills long. We, therefore, are offering delicious 'home cooked' meals at no cost (no love offering or donations) to our church and community. Come and join us anytime between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM on Wednesday November 18th.

FREE!!! Parents Night Out  -  The second Friday of the month from 6 to 9 PM

(for children up to 12 years of age) Our Parents Night Out program is continuing to grow. It is held the second Friday of each month. We provide dinner, games, movie and crafts. Due to a grant that we received, this is now a free program, and is open to the community. Spread the word.  Games, dinner, crafts and movie.
